The food was exceptional and the people were wonderful. Definitely on our list for redo. There are a lot of things on the menu that we want to try.

Chicken Paprika, is as good as always... I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.... If they want a awesome meal....

Quite a cozy place. Looks like it used to be a large house. Instead of a bunch of lettuce and a few tomatoes, the house salad was great! All of the vegetables were evenly mixed, if I had know the salad was like that, I would have ordered a large one. I had the seafood with pasta mild, and it was delicious

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. We ordered take-out on Sunday, but were not in their "delivery" area. I sent them a message and asked if they would be willing to deliver to Cranbury and they said yes. This was the BEST takeout I have ever had in my life. It arrived hot and so fresh. Everything was a delight. Sauerbraten, Beef Goulash, Pierogies, Stuffed Cabbages, Touros Scuza, Mititei...even the side salad was perfect!!! We can't wait to go back again and again and again. OUTSTANDING!!!!! THANK YOU BLUE DANUBE !!!!!

Delicious and fresh food that remind me of my Gammy. Potato pancakes, tomato potato soup and clams casino. Can't beat it. Trenton still has fantastic food, I guarantee it.

I very rarely give out 5 stars. This place gets them. Despite the location/parking/neighborhood this place still has the best European food in the USA (sorry Grammy)

Had not been here in over 10 years. Food was exquisite and so delicious. The service outstanding. I definitely recomend this place. Is one of those rare gems that you can't find anywhere else.

Awesome Romanian food! Really liked the place. Get the Mititei if you want some amazing authentic Romanian food. Wife got the Roasted red peppers and the Chicken Elizabeth. She liked the food but got sick to her stomach. She isn't sure if it was from the food or not. I, however, stand by my review. I loved the Mititei and will go back for more.

Very good! My husband and I went for lunch. The food was great and the service was excellent. I had the stuffed cabbage and pierogies and my husband had beef goulash which were both very tasty. We have been here before, but what I like is that the food is consistently good.

Good food and an amazingly kind owner. This really is the last Eastern European restaurant left in Trenton. If you grew up eating this type of food do you will love it. If you didn't, well then you're in for a treat. The neighborhood may have changed greatly but the quality of the food at this restaurant did not.

I would recommend not going here. I'm pretty sure our waiter was drunk and we had to find the staff ever time we wanted to order. The food was just straight up nasty, I did not eat anything but the pierogis.

My favorite place to eat when I visit my sister in Trenton. Everything is homemade and so delicious. Wish they could ship to Florida but only having it once a year makes it extra special. Thanks for food made with love.

Perhaps the best restaurant in Trenton. Incredible de corps in a profound location. Food is unique in the area particularly these days. surprisingly the salad dressing with the creamy Dill is remarkable. The pork schnitzel is one of a kind. Finally the beer selection is not to be missed of European and German varieties

This place is really clean, the owners are really nice too.

It is a little taste of east Europe. The food tastes like it’s home made and it comes out hot.the chef uses the perfect blend of spices. It’s my family’s favorite restaurant. If you haven’t been here before, you just have to try it. You’ll be back before you know it!

Amazing, lovingly prepared food in very authentic Central European surroundings. The enormous standing music box from the 1880s playing in the background only added to the atmosphere.

I came from Alabama to enjoy dinner, and was so upset, they had one person working the whole restaurant. Took 20 minutes to get seated and 20 minutes to get a drink. So disappointed.

If you want authentic eastern European food, this is the place to go. Family owned, service is a bit slow but worth the wait. Made to feel very welcomed, got historical info, very authentic food and wine like Gramma used to make. Ordered the Danube sampler as an entree to get a taste of everything. Sooo good! Try the salad with dill dressing. Can't wait to go back.

Awesome, authentic Eastern European food. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts is excellent. It's a small place but I like the ambiance and the staff are always friendly. If you're into eastern European food, definitely check them out!

Yummy! The bacon wrapped scallops appetizer was delicious but very tiny, only a few very small scallops.

Just passing through town and decided to find the Blue Danube after reading reviews. We are glad we did. Old building and not easy to find, but the food is great. Schnitzel and sauerbraten were both perfectly prepared. Well worth searching for! The Blue Danube has some of the best salads you'd ever want to try. They are large and they are delicious and they are a refreshing meal.

Hi Margret. Awesome (Hungarian/Eastern European) food. Cream of tomato-potato soup! Chicken Menandihi, Turascuso, Polish platter, Spaetzel... Euro/Polish/German beers...

One of the best restaurants in Trenton. Literally everything was perfect, from my cocktail drink, to the wings, to my main entree! Service was great too. Place is very big and spacious and has a fun, upbeat, casual atmosphere. Great for watching sports and hanging out with friends. Everything looked very neat and clean too, they take good care of the place! Highly recommended!

I had the Jaegar Schnitzel. It was so good! Crisp with delicious gravy. L We also had the Polish Sampler. It did nor disappoint. I would recommend this place to anyone!! Not super fast, but that's not the point. Sit back, relax, and enjoy.

Amazing Hungarian cuisine. When you sit down to eat you feel like you are at home. The staff are so sweet and nice and help you enjoy your experience the whole time you are there. They treat you like you are family. Highly recommend the pierogies and halusky!!!!!!!!!!!
